Iced Mocha Recipe-How to Make an Iced Mocha

by Coffeemom

Jump to recipe

Iced Mocha RecipeA delicious iced mocha recipe for you! Try it, I’m pretty sure you’ll love it! You can also try this mocha frappuccino if you’d like a blended version.

This iced mocha recipe is not “blended”, but iced. So you do not need a blender, just whole or crushed ice! It is very quick and easy. Add whipped cream on top and you’re all set!

For the cocoa powder, I use Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate and I love it. They also have an unsweetened version. You can use Hershey’s chocolate too if you prefer or if you don’t have any cocoa on hand.

Also try adding a little vanilla extract for added flavor!

This was really good. I added a 1/4 tsp instant coffee grounds as my brewed coffee was not strong enough and I also used hersheys syrup as I didn’t have any cocoa, I omitted the sugar. It came out fantastic. Next shopping trip I will get original ingredients. Thanks for the recipe ๐Ÿ™‚

Make sure you are mixing the hot coffee/espresso shots into the cocoa powder before you add the ice and milk. It should mix up fine that way. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a similar recipe, only I used cold pressed coffee. My problem is that the cocoa doesn’t dissolve and tends to want to separate and settle on the bottom Suggestions?

Make sure you mix the hot coffee/espresso with the cocoa first before adding the ice

delicious…..also if you are on the Southbeach Diet plan, use sugar free hersheys syrup (one shot), splenda and 1% milk. So yummy and you feel like you are drinking what everyone else can have.
